Teaching and Community Development in Peru
Ayni is a very small grassroots organization based in Piura, Nothern Peru. Their organization works together with this community to alleviate some of the major barriers of living in extreme poverty. Their role is multifaceted and continues to grow within the community from women's development projects, to small micro-credit schemes, as well as encouraging and supporting education and knowledge of human rights throughout the community. The volunteer projects largely revolve around teaching. It is also a good opportunity to improve Spanish language skills!

- No participation fees except US$ 200 deposit which will be returned at the end of the project
- Volunteers are helped to find local accommodation by the organisation (it is very affordable)
